It may work with other meters as well.   We recommend taking readings directly off of the screen without the diffuser. Place the tripod a couple of feet away from the screen at enough of an angle to prevent the probe from reading its own shadow.   If you wish to take readings from the lens to get higher light output, then you must use the diffuser. The diffuser will filter out some light in the higher wavelengths, so you should use ChromaPure's Meter Offset feature (for example) to correct the response by using off-screen measurements without the diffuser as a reference.    Be sure to attach the probe snugly to the tripod clamp, but do not over-tighten. Also, do not allow the clamp to block the central area of the probe where the light is received.
