A newer 3D-Theatre with 1080p output with 7.1 audio support
A superior performing Theatre 3D-processor, delivering 1080p output via
active shutter glasses.
The new Theatre Plus can also lock at 72Hz
and 96Hz vertical refresh rates for 720p (instead of only 60Hz and 120Hz).
The helps reduce flicker on displays that support 720p/72Hz or 720p/96Hz, but do not
support 720p/120Hz.
3D-Theatre Plus has a faster processor with superior audio/video
output, making your 3D experience even more enjoyable. An ideal solution for
home-theatres operating with 1080p projectors.
The new Theatre Plus supports 7.1 audio. (This 7.1 audio support is not
important if the signal passes through a receiver first and the video is passed
through to the 3D-Theatre PLUS. It’s more about future-proofing. The HDMI signal
is not altered/changed in any way (no conversion)).
All other features of the 3D-Theatre PLUS are identical to the
3D-Theatre. The installation/setup instructions
for the 3D-Theatre should be used.
DIP switch settings
The 3D-Theatre PLUS uses 3 additional DIP switches as compared to the
3D-Theatre to allow for selection between 1080p and 720p, in addition to
selecting the refresh rate (60, 72, 96, or 120Hz).
Not all combinations are possible.

Which 3D converter is right for me?
Which 3D converter you choose depends on the type of projector/TV you have and
what sort of 3D content you wish to view:
- 3D-Gamer
(discontinued):
Play your favourite 3D games a regular 2D DLP display capable of at least
720p. Supports 720p100 and 720p120 output.
- 3D-Displayer
(discontinued): Play 3D
games and movies on a
regular 2D HDMI display capable of at least 720p. Supports 720p60 and
720p120 output
- 3D-Theatre:
Play 3D movies, 3D games, 3D satellite/cable, and 3D internet videos on
a regular 2D HDMI display capable of at least 720p. Supports 720p60 and
720p120 output.
- 3D-Theatre
PLUS:
Play 3D movies, 3D games, 3D satellite/cable, and 3D internet videos on
a regular 2D HDMI display capable of at least 720p. Supports 1080p60,
720p60, 720p72, 720p96, and 720p120 output.
