Top view

The top back view of the projector shows the vertical output/deflection board that also contains the convergence output amplifiers. The boards behind the Video/S-video board are the quad decoder board (Zenith calls this the ‘digital decoder’, and Runco puts their line doubler board in this slot). The quad decoder board is very reliable.

Under the black plastic cover on the right side of the projector is the main CPU board and the digital convergence board. Beside the HV board is the H deflection board. The H yoke wires connect to this board and must be flipped around to change the mounting positioning of the set. The CPU and convergence boards have been very reliable. The H output board has the odd problem and will result in a lack of HV and picture if it fails.

The analog convergence board is very reliable, I’ve never had one fail before.
