3. Place the four SilenX rubber spacers inside the Sony fan housing:

4. Order one Samtec PCB header from RS-components/Radiospares (order code 277 9742 - see the Samtec relevant DS page in here). Update it to retrieve four 3 pins headers like this :

5. Before placing the new fan inside the Sony plastic housing on rubber spacers, place the fan's wires like this:

6. Place the fan inside the plastic housing, on the rubber spacers and place the fan wires through the relevant window (left or right depending on the fan location) and press each rubber flat part to fit-in the fan's holes:
