Notes
If your remote
won't allow you to do any geometry or convergence adjustments, try the
following:
- There's a switch in the battery compartment of the remote which needs
to be set 'on'.
- Try pressing the ID buttons on your remote. It's possible
that your remote has different ID than your projector (same thing as 'address'
function on Barco remotes). Different ID allows you to do some basic operations
but none of the ones needed in geometry adjustments.
Accessing the 16 different
memory settings for RGB input mode:
When you input a new frequency (new resolution/refresh rate), press test
key and save your settings pressing the store key twice. If the signal
you're inputting is same as one previously saved, it will use the same
memory location.
Every resolution/refresh rate/sync type etc. combination can have only one
memory setting (A1-A8 etc.). Each memory setting can have three different
settings, for example for different aspect ratios (A1-1, A1-2, A1-3, A2-1
etc.). Press test and aspect key to create a new aspect memory and follow
instructions. You can change the aspect memory with aspect key.
You need the original remote to set up projector OR you
can download files for various programmable remotes (ex: Phillips Pronto) from
remotecentral.com.
Try and get the original Panasonic ceiling mount
if you can. Not only it's the best I've seen (just
lift your projector to this mount and that's it!), but it's not very simple to
make one of your own.
