Mod'ing the tube toe-in system to stepless is quite simple. Just take the top support beam and connect the holes with a drill or a file. Tubes may move quite sluggishly and you may have to use some force but be gentle! Remember to loosen all the screws, including the ones in the bottom side of the tubes. Here is a picture:

NOTE: I've filed only two holes together as the desired toe in was achieved between those holes.
