Test/Text Generator:

There’s not much to say about this board. It generates the on board text messages where applicable, and also generates the test patterns.

I’ve found with the Ampro units that it’s best to use an external test pattern from a generator or an AVIA test DVD. There always seems to be some difference between the internal test pattern and the signal source when it comes to convergence. Make sure that you select the internal test pattern that is at a frequency higher than your inputted signal to get the most accurate convergence from the internal test pattern generator.

There are no adjustments to this board, leave the trimpots alone!
