In the above image you can see that the G2/diagnostic board has a total of 4 red focus wires going to the focus block. The 1208 focus block has the silicone block mounted to the back of the module, the 808 has it mounted on the front of the module. When you see four focus leads going to the focus block, you’ll know that the set has Sony CRT’s installed. The MEC tubes do not require a red focus lead going to the CRT sockets.
